Ed - I don't think that you're too deluded. The beer does stand out from the usual watery Asian pilsener/lager by lacking bubbles and the experience of drinking it is hard to beat. It's a bit simple for my tastes, but I tend to prefer extremely hoppy beers. I was thinking more “The beer that I remember drinking”.
