Low hanging fruit

Here’s a community built map of overhanging fruit in (mostly) Melbourne. Not much will be in season at the moment apart from the lemons, so hold off a few months before you selfishly plunder the neighbourhood trees.

A scrumping map. Love it. Will duly file it away and roll it out come the spring.

I live in Sydney. Was house hunting for much of the year in and around the suburb we currently live in. Saw an amazing number of properties (some vacant) with fruit rotting around the base of trees. Noted a couple of lemon trees with low hanging fruit nearby – and have been back (in the dark) on several occasions to relieve those trees of some of their bounty! Might pop round to one of them tonight, in fact!
