Hi there! Long-time lurker, first time commenter.

A friend of mine was at the Sensory Lab not too long ago and said that her coffee was $12 a cup. I dunno whether it's true or whether she was simply exaggerating, but she did enjoy her coffee. Not sure whether it's worth that much though, especially since places like Seven Seeds offer their clover coffee for not much more than the price of a regular espresso brew. Still, I might check this place out sometime - it would have to be a lazy Saturday afternoon thing though, not a five-minutes-before work thing.

I confess to falling victim to the psychological barrier. When I'm after my coffee I usually want it fast, I'm yet to sacrifice precious pre-ordering minutes to work out the sensory lab. But I really should try it. Great post.
